What we collect

When you register your interest in working with us we may collect your contact details (name, email, mobile), your location such as the suburb and postcode you live in and the areas you'd prefer to work, your employment history and current occupation, your qualifications, licences and tickets, your employment preferences and availability, and anything else you choose to send us such as a resume or photos of your work.

If you contact us as a builder about upcoming work, we collect the contact and project details you provide, along with any plans or documents you upload.

Why we collect it

We use recruitment information solely to assess you for carpentry roles at Coastal Construction and to contact you about them. We may retain your details so we can contact you about current and future employment opportunities. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with third parties for marketing.

How it's stored

Registrations and enquiries are stored in a private, access-controlled database. Resumes, work photos and uploaded plans are held in private storage that only authorised Coastal Construction staff can open, using short-lived secure links. This information is never published on the website.

Access and removal

You can ask us at any time for a copy of what we hold about you, or ask us to delete it. Email us using the address on our contact page and we'll action it.

Cookies and tracking

If you arrive from a QR code, advertisement or social post we may record which campaign sent you, so we know where our applicants come from. This is not linked to any advertising profile.
